Breakfast Burritos (Episode #1)

Lauren here with the long-awaited recipe for cooking our first dish, Breakfast Burritos. As you can probably tell from the show, I’m not always the biggest fan of laying out simple recipes complete with exact ingredient amounts. Sure, that’s necessary for baking and cooking some dishes, but for things like Breakfast Burritos you should just add the ingredients carefully, taste as you go, and stuff it in your face hole when it seems done.

Here’s how we made our Breakfast Burritos.

What You’ll Need:
Red Onions
Garlic
Green Pepper
Eggs (1-2 per burrito)
Salt
Pepper Cumin
Oregano
Crushed Red Pepper
Hash Browns/Tater Rounds
Tortilla

Optional Ingredients:
Cheese
Sour Cream
Salsa
Lettuce

What You Do:
Saute diced red onions and garlic ’til slightly tender. Add green pepper and saute ’til onions and garlic are transLUCENT.

Take a shot.

Beat eggs (1-2 eggs per burrito) with salt, pepper, cumin, oregano, and crushed red pepper. Add egg mix to veggie saute and cook til nearly done.

Drink one beer.

Add some form of frozen hash brown/tater rounds/etc that have been thawed. Cook ’til eggs are done. Put on tortilla, add cheese and other desired toppings (salsa, sour cream, guacamole, lettuce, etc). Fold thoughtfully and thoroughly. Eat.

And drink more.
