    I’ve been living without a microwave for 6 months, and it’s forced me to do things like saute my veggies with chicken stock or bake chicken and pork in the oven. It may be slower, but the quality of my meals have increased.

    It is nice to have one for thawing frozen stuff or popping popcorn, though.

    Oh, and a handful of dark chocolate M&Ms microwaved for about 10-15 seconds are amazing. The shell is still crunchy, but they’re like hot, chocolate explosions on your tongue.
